EXPATS in Costa Rica – CAVA Bar and Restaurant

Suhey Needs Our Help

We know you signed up to get information about Life in Costa Rica and the Real Estate Market here in the Papagayo area.  You have every right to unsubscribe to this newsletter if we are not providing the content you want.  We have a deep committment to our community and feel it is our obligation to help out others who are in need even though it might cause us to lose some subscribers or potential clients.  We are prepared to sacrifice ourselves if it means we can help out our friends and neighbors who really need it.

Suhey is a massage therapist who does beach massages in front of Hotel El Velero.  She works hard and has a clientele but is really only able to make ends meet.  I have gotten numerous massages from Suhey as have many of you over the years.  She is hardworking and a dedicated Mother.  For many years we have been helping Suhey with her Autistic child and have become good friends with her. 

A friend of Suhey has created a GoFundMe page to help out.  You can read the full detail in the GoFundMe page but the gist of the matter is that Suhey’s longtime boyfriend Luis was killed by a drunk driver.  Suhey has 3 kids including a son who is autistic and relied on Luis to help out with the kids while she works.  Unfortunately now that Luis is gone, Suhey does not have any help to move around herself and her children and has lost her only form of transportation at the same time.  Please check out the GoFundMe page and decide for yourself.  Thanks Everyone!
